Social communication for high school
Prefilled below. Adjust the settings, then build and copy the prompt.
Never enter student names or identifying info (names, birthdates, ID numbers, school names, diagnoses tied to a person) here or in any AI tool. Use [Student]. ASHA advises de-identifying before using generative AI: ASHA guidance on AI and privacy ↗. This site stores nothing you type in the generator.
How to run it
- Talk with the student about their own goals, such as a job interview, a team project or a part-time job.
- Use workplace and teamwork scenarios to discuss different ways to respond and what each might lead to.
- Practice a short role play the student chooses, then reflect together.
What to track
- Note the skill in focus and the student's self-rating after each role play.
- Record when the student uses the skill outside therapy, as the student or staff report it.
Make it easier or harder
- Easier: Use a script or cue card and shorter role plays.
- Harder: Practice with an unfamiliar adult, or plan and rehearse a real conversation (asking a manager about a schedule).
Home practice
Agree on one real situation this week where the student will try the skill and report back.
