LAMP Words for Life
An established AAC app that now adds optional, on-device AI for message editing, translation and building vocabulary pages.
- What it does
- LAMP Words for Life combines PRC-Saltillo's Unity language system with the LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning) approach, for beginning through advanced communicators. Its optional AI features run on the device without Wi-Fi: AI Message Edit corrects grammar and spelling, AI Translate translates the speech display bar, AI Image Generation creates new images, and word lists for custom vocabulary pages can be generated by topic. It also offers data logging with Realize Language integration.

- Limitation
- The AI features only work on iOS devices running iOS 26 that are Apple Intelligence compatible.
